Dr. Tartt was born and raised in New Orleans, then moved to Mississippi. He obtained both his medical degree and his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Tartt has a specific passion for outer vascular surgery as well as aortic aneurysm repair.
Dr. Tartt's training and education provided him with the expertise and experience to provide first-class care to his patients, regardless of their circumstance. He can perform open vascular surgery using typical approaches; and also works very closely with the interventional radiology team to offer minimally invasive vascular studies and treatments such as arteriogram, angioplasty, and stent positioning.
